The key difference is in inks and lamination:
Indoor: Eco-solvent or water-based inks. Cheaper, but fades quickly in sunlight without UV protection. Suitable for offices, shops, indoor events. Lifespan: unlimited indoors.
Outdoor: UV inks or eco-solvent with UV lamination. Resistant to rain, sun and frost. For facades, signage, construction sites. Lifespan: 3–7 years depending on material and exposure.
